Metroid: Samus Returns is a 2017-remake of 1991's Metroid 2: Return of Samus. With a classic 2D-style it feels like one of the best, most authentic Metroid games of the last 15 years, but at the same time it doesn't do a whole lot of new or interesting things to make it stand out from its competitors.
