Sanath Nandasiri - කවුරුදෝ අර කවුළුවෙන් (Instrumental version from SLRC Test Card)
9Inspired by the Testcardiologist's video "Seizurevahini." You may remember that the video had featured such a glitchy version of this song - as I mentioned, "කවුරුදෝ අර කවුළුවෙන්" (Instrumental) as sang by Sangeeth Nipun Prof. H.M. Sanath Nandasiri.
Today inside such a mess of home renovation, we had to participate in an online meeting so we had to couple our desktop PC to our TV which was already rigged for the sake of watching News and such. So during the long and boring period of time (Few hours) waiting, I came up with an idea to catch the clear version of the SLRC Test card (Opening Logo) with the help of Peo TV.
As I have no HDMI capture card, I decided just to record the audio using some kind of weirdly split S-VIDEO to RCA cable that came with Peo TV STB. (Other than its original HDMI cable.) That S-VIDEO cable has 6 RCA outs which stand for CVBS (1) (Composite Video), YPbPr (3), and Stereo L-R. As there is no point to record a still video using a piece of equipment that I don't have, I recorded the audio by coupling the stereo out with our desktop's trustee Line-in port, and it was a success. Just don't mind the noise, it occurs normally on our TV channels plus some ground loop in our recording rig due to earthing issues.
