Welp, I might be starting up too many different games, but screw it! Welcome to SanctuaryRPG, a text-based, roguelike/roguelyte RPG done in ASCII art.
Before I get into this, I'd like to tell everyone that I did play this game before when the team for this game put out the alpha and beta version for free its website, so I do have a good amount of knowledge of the basics of the game. However, beyond whatever was patched in during beta and post-release is completely new to me and will be fun to get used the new mechanics and other stuff as I come across them.
Alright, so in a nutshell, you create your character, choose his/her/its class and racial origin bonuses, and then go out to fight monsters and grind your way to beat the final boss of the game (though I never got past Act II in the alpha version). Along the way, the game has a silly way of handling events and dialogue which I believe gives the game its charm.
I know that wasn't the most descriptive, but I'll get more into this stuff as I go on in my playthrough. Enjoy the videos everyone!
