While building the Manhattan Bridge, I was messing around in MCEdit, I selected a large work area and lowered the terrain so that sea level was now at 3 or 4 blocks above the bottom of the map. What this did was create a ton of now randomly hanging sand, which everyone knows is the most satisfying thing in Minecraft. So I had to mess with it.
