Sandbox Showcase #2: Quick Hot Steam Vent Tamer (ONI: Spaced Out!)
13Welcome to Sandbox Showcase! In this series, I talk about various problems in Oxygen Not Included and how I've solved them with my own designs in previous streamed and non-streamed runs, by building them in Sandbox mode.\n\nIn this video, I talk about how I sort out Steam Vents as soon as possible so that I can extract some sweet Water and Power from the 500° C Steam and help out my dupes as early as possible. There are more power-efficient designs for later game use that involve more automation and complexity, but this design is relatively simple and useful for when you just need that Water with minimal fuss, and it's still very power positive.
