Sanjeev Chopra, Secretary- Dept of Food and Public Distribution talks about multiple steps to improve the Financial Viability of Fair Price Shops ( FPS ) in the country. The FPS can now tie - up with other Govt agencies/department like the Indian Postal Dept, Common Service Centre, Indian Banks etc for services and hence improving finances.
