Having finished the final mouthful of some cold, left-over Christmas Pudding, I thought I'd check out another festive, Santa-themed game to show you during this holiday season!

This time, we have a shoot 'em up featuring everybody's favourite bearded, present-giver!

It's not as straightforward at first glance. If there's one thing that over 25 years gaming experience has taught me is that presents, pudding and various foodstuffs should be collected for points and health; they should not kill you! Once you work out that EVERYTHING is out to kill you, then the game is much simpler to play!

The game is set over three stages and the objective is to kill anything that moves and avoid everything else that doesn't. This makes the game quite challenging as there are plenty of hills and obstacles to avoid, and the perspective catches you out; quite often you will smash into a piece of scenery that you would assume that you could fly past.

Anyway, these are minor niggles to what is, otherwise, a pretty fun, festive themed game. I particularly liked the catchy music that played across each stage.

Not a classic, but not a turkey either (see what I did there??!).

Enjoy!
