Sarah Bryant VF5 up+forward+Guard+Kick stagger combo \\ Virtua Fighter 5 PS3 \\ #208b
8During the Amateurs' Tournament in Quest mode (on Hard) of Virtua Fighter 5 on PS3, playing as an 8th dan Sarah Bryant--I'd accidentally skipped the all-city tournaments for a long time so I was really way too high level for this : o--I decided to see what I could do with a tricky little opening move of hers that I hadn't had much luck with previously: ufGK, aka, press the diagonal between up and forward on the stick or d-pad, at the same time that you hit the Guard and Kick buttons; this has Sarah execute a quick spin with her knee cocked high, bringing it around to strike the opponent.
Well, my poor Wolf Hawkfield opponent, aptly named 9th dan "C. Fodder," didn't block it; it caught him and he reeled way back, so I hit some more buttons, and somehow it turned into this rather photogenic combo that blew him all the way back to the wall and KO'd him! : o So maybe there's something to this ufGK...
I don't know what the rest of the buttons I hit were, exactly, but probably a Punch, Punch, and a Kick were next, possibly in combination with directional inputs on the stick. The Kick for some reason staggered him, so he was wide open to whatever I wanted to do after that--not to mention already being on the verge of death anyway. I just did my bread and butter: dfKK into Flamingo, another K for good measure, a PPP flurry, and then I guess that's probably just a plain neutral K (or fK?) for the final flying knee.
Not a hard combo by any means (I can't do those : p); the trick would be landing ufGK on a tougher opponent in the first place. Anyway, it looked good and for a few seconds made me look kind of like I knew what I was doing. I don't, of course, but we don't have to tell anyone that. : D
