Satisfactory Gameplay: How to Survive in the Desert (Day 122 & 123)
Hey, engineers, welcome back to another exciting episode of Satisfactory Gameplay in the desert biome. I'm P3NGU1NZZ, your guide and friend for this awesome adventure.
In the previous episode, we made some major improvements to our steel processing and concrete transportation. We built a new steel processing building closer to the main train line in oasis, which will help us keep up with our growing steel demand. We also replaced our truck line with a new short express train line that connects our concrete factory with our encased beam factory. This way, we can ensure a faster and more efficient delivery of concrete. This took us some time to set up, but it was worth it.
We also went to our aluminum plant and picked up a shipment manually with our train. We realized that our aluminum production was not automated yet. We had to manually transport coal and bauxite to our aluminum plant and bring back aluminum ingots. This was very tedious and time-consuming. We decided to automate this process by using an existing train line that connects our coal mine, bauxite mine, aluminum plant, and oasis. We just needed to configure the train timetable schedule to make sure it picks up the stuff as needed. This way, we can have a constant flow of aluminum ingots to our oasis, where we can refine them into sheets and casings.
In this episode, we are continuing our work on the crystal oscillator and radio control unit factory buildings. These are the components that we need to unlock some of the most advanced technologies in the game, such as the Mk5 belt, the lift, and the fuel generator. We will need to use our aluminum and quartz crystals, as well as some other resources, to produce these items. We will also need to build some new factories and machines to make them.
But wait, there's more! In this episode, we also completed a big portion of the train line from oasis into the oil fields to the south west. This is where we will get crude oil for our fuel generator project. In the next episode, we need to connect the two together and begin building the constructors for the aluminum ingots in the building across from the steel processing building. The Oasis is starting to come alive more with many new trains zipping around. We also need to figure out how we will build more of the loop around the desert biome, that is a big project so stay tuned.
So, that's it for this amazing episode of Satisfactory Gameplay in the desert biome. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.
