Satisfactory Update 4 Let's Play: Starting the Mega Factory (Ep.7)
7A Mega episode, for our first Mega Factory build!
With our preparations done from last time, it's time that we start The Beast, which will house the Space Elevator inside it, and smaller sub-factories factories around it.
We plan the foundations of our Mega Factory, with the Space Elevator situated in it's core, and start on the basement of the beast, where our main smelting setups will be.
With the Pure Iron Ingot alternative recipe we unlocked last time now at our disposal, we can upgrade our Iron Ingot production from the 600 Ingots per minute with our Foundries, to 900 Ingots per minute with some Refineries.
But why stop there, this is a Mega build after all, so let's multiply it 10 fold, so we get out, 9,000 Iron Ingots per minute.
So we spend some time, refining, our Refinery setups within the factory in just how to do that, which takes us down that dark rabbit hole of Power Management and conveyor belt/ pipeline logistical nightmares.
This thing certainly is going to be a beast by the time it's done.
