1:30:20 Useful Timings tutorial: the reason Kami War is placed second in the order but pops up first is because you need to choose all targets for effects first, before the stack is resolved. So in this case I can't bounce a zombie after Zhalfir resolves because I have to choose a target before the zombie is in play.
1:40:26 Final Thoughts
I think Phasing of Zhalfir is pretty bad here overall because replacing my opponent's creatures with 2/2 zombies actually does very little to reduce the pressure on my life total - a lot of time against aggro decks it won't even reduce the power they have on the board.
