0in this seventh installment of my PDS guide you are back on your own again as Gash has left after finishing the desert, I take the opportunity to retrace my steps and find the hidden first "D-Unit" which you will need to pick up as you have to find all 12 if you are to unlock the final version of the Dragon. The 1st D-Unit is in the very first level where you can fly with your dragon. There are lots of things that you will receive ratings on at the end of the game, your spiritual connection with the dragon (to get a good rating here ensure you always Pet your Dragon and you name him when you get the chance. petting can only be done in the various camps you will recover at inbetween story sections) and the D units you collect will also count towards your ratings at the end as well
I also visit the first place where you can buy and sell items etc, and you find your next destination too, if you didn't find the Mauler in the first Desert level in my earlier walkthrough video you should buy it here
