Cyber Speedway (also known as Gran Chaser in japan), developed by NexTech and released for the Sega Saturn in 1995. The Pal version is being played here.
The game offers two difficulty levels offering two different track sets yet overall is quite short. In this longplay I play through Beginner and Advanced story levels. The final track is only available at the end of the advanced difficulty.
While the game is not much to look at even for the time, the game is more playable than the US release of the game. This version runs slower and in slightly higher resolution but although the framerate is still variable, it is much more consistent allowing for better control of the craft. Its still not a great game, but I feel it is the better of the two. The music here is also a better match for the game play.
