idk what I was looking for that day, but I discovered that you could mix your savefiles in Pokemon Soulstones, and probably a lot of other Pokemon Essential games.
• What are you doing?
Finishing Pokemon Soulstones 1.5 as fast as possible
• How are you doing it?
I'm doing so by teleporting at the end of the "main game".
• Why do you pick Litten?
Litten is the fastest starter to pass the Cameron and Rhea fights.
• Why do you need a Pokemon?
The game crashes during Hall of Fame if you don't have any Pokemon
• How are you teleporting to the Tomb of the Fallen One?
At 1:24, I am modifying my Save Folder to replace my current save file (the one that is displayed) with a save file that is after I defeat Christina but before the main game end cutscene.
The game retains some of the information of the save file that is displayed (team, number of badges, pokemon trainer name, nb of catched pokemon), but also uses some of the replacing save file (game progression (switches, variables), position, pokemon boxes, in game time).
• Is there any point in doing this run?
Not really because my Litten save file still has 0 badge, but no way to collect the first 7 badges.
