This parakeet randomly appeared near our house. We were having a garage sale as my mother screams seeing a bird swoop down by her head. He thought perhaps he could land on her. Then me, my brother, and sister tried all we could to save him as he flew into my sisters hand like a pet and began to eat bird seed. He flew away and it took an additional half hour to get him to cooperate. My sister grabbed the enclosure I got from her room and finally caught the bird. We searched and posted about the missing bird realizing that lost parakeets is extremely common somehow. However we got lucky 3-4 hours later as the owner finally contacted my sister. Now little Rocky can go home. Share this if you are a animal lover and as always be on the look out for strays or lost pets/animals. They need to be off the dangerous streets.
