Saving Everyone and Getting Out in Dino Crisis Finale (No Commentary) (Dreamcast 1999)
There are 3 "main" endings with slightly different cutscenes, either with the helicopter or the boat/hovercraft. This ending showcases the "best" end with the helicopter exit. Beating the game will give you two outfits (showcased at the end) and beating it a second time will unlock the final outfit that also shows off a bunch of skin and changes the look of her weapons. Get all three endings and you unlock and infinite use grenade launcher and beating the game in under 5 hours unlocks "Operation: Wipeout" which is just arcade mode in which you kill dinosaurs with limited ammo in a certain time-limit. See how I beat this in under 6 hours, you could unlock everything this game has to offer in a day if you went at it and know what to do/picking the fastest path options.
I did use a guide to get this, getting the "best" end is a convoluted mess of going where you're not supposed to in this what's supposed to be an urgent manner of getting Kirk. Then again, this is supposed to be more of a second play-through or even the third play-through's ending. Regardless, it's a quick enough game to not be an issue.
Overall, a fun old game that I'm glad to play and experience. Would recommend once you get past the tank controls aspect of the game. Might give Dino Crisis 2 a whirl.
------------------------------------------------------
Dino Crisis is a survival horror and action-adventure video game series created by Shinji Mikami and developed and published by Capcom. The plot focuses on recurring outbreaks of deadly dinosaurs in closed environments, such as a laboratory on an island.
Dino Crisis takes place on a fictional location known as Ibis Island in the year 2009. The Secret Operation Raid Team (SORT) has sent an agent, Tom, to investigate a research facility. During the recon mission, he learns that Dr. Edward Kirk, a world-renowned scientist who was reported dead three years ago, is leading a secret weapons project within the facility. SORT sends four agents (Regina, Gail, Rick, and Cooper) to acquire Kirk and return him to custody. The team arrives on the island under the cover of darkness, dropping in via parachute. Cooper is blown off course and lands in the jungle away from the others. Lost in the dark, he is chased down by a Tyrannosaurus and eaten. The other three agents, unaware of his death, proceed with the mission.
Dino Crisis received largely positive reviews, though reviewers felt it appropriate to compare it with Capcom's Resident Evil line of games
