Saviors of Sapphire Wings Superboss: Phoenix the Spirit God
0The last challenge of this series, for now anyways. Has us facing off with the spirit god herself.
Phoenix can somewhat be compared to Overlord Ol=Ohma but light element instead of dark. However that's where comparisons end because she doesn't have any impact skills and she won't revive her wisps... because of this Lumi is kind of worthless in this fight because Phoenix has 70% boost to evasion and 50% damage reduction while on the back line and she can regenerate the entire time.
Unfortunately arrow shield is not the way to go. When she gets in close she has a lot of holy attacks she can use but she doesn't use Ohma's Impact... instead she opts for Tri Tetra Strike... which is 12 attacks and will straight up kill your tank if they soak up damage. This fight is resource hungry and a good challenge with some fantastic music and your reward for winning is the secret party member:
Merlin... and she's only level 1... Ok it's not that bad there's some many EXP grimoire's that you could quickly get her level up to something respectable and she's saved by having the highest base stats of any party member on top of already being soul rank 7 and nullifying any Ohma Impact attacks.
I hope you all enjoyed this series and I plan to have more series voted on in the future but for now... well we all know what's coming out at the end of the week.
