Check the Date of the File (your going to download)
1. Download your 'Microsoft Safety Scanner' Version (Windows 32-bit or 64-bit)
2. Then you can double click the File ('Microsoft Safety Scanner')
3. Run it (if you like)
3.1 Wait until the process is finished (it will show you some information after)
Use the System File Checker tool to repair missing or corrupted system files:

1. Press the Windows Logo on your Keyboard
1.1 Type in: cmd
1.2 Right click and open it with Administrator rights /
Execute as administrator
1.3 Click: Yes (if you like)
2. Enter/Past this: DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth (only if you like/want)
2.1 Press: Enter (on your Keyboard)
2.2 Wait until the process is finished (100%; it will show you some information after)
3. sfc /scannow (only if you like/want - SFC-Scans)
3.1 Press: Enter (on your Keyboard)
3.2 Wait until the process is finished (100%; and it will show you some information after)
Now your PC should be (somehow) better again.

you can write 'cd/' to get right to the TOP of your root directory

I got this Information (Translated from German Language to English Language - mod.):
What is the fastest way to get a cmd window with administrator rights:
I press the [Windows] key, then I type cmd and then press [CTRL] + [SHIFT] + [ENTER].
If you insert something in a cmd window, you do not do this with [CTRL] + [V] for security reasons,
but with the right mouse button on the blinking cursor (of course copied beforehand with [CTRL] + [C]). By the way, it wasn't any different until WINDOWS 7!
If you don't want to write cd .. several times, you can switch to the top of the root directory with
cd / - it's faster.
Finally (from a Professional):
SFC scans are often dangerous! After my last SFC scan 14 days ago, my Windows version was no longer registered and all USB connections were gone! I didn't even have a keyboard and mouse anymore. I then had to start the PC via an emergency disk, restore a saved MBR record and a 48 hour "old" 😁 complete backup of the PC then 100% were saved - but who still makes backups these days ...
The same applies to all DISM.exe commands .. I can only advise against it .. This is only for full professionals!
