Schematic: Raspberry Pi Pico Temperature Project
7Here I am working on the schematic for the Temperature Project I have been building for this series. This is used for the wire wrapped prototype (perf) board I am building. Once I know the design is sound I plan on using the schematic to design a Printed Circuit Board (PCB). I may etch my own at first before sending it out to be manufactured.
You would think that a schematic would be the first thing I would design.
I had a basic paper layout of the layout, but things like how each pin went from the 74hc595 to the 8-segement displays was done at build time.

After recording this I fixed some of the component and wire placements. I started changing the color of the wires. I fixed some of the foot prints for a possible PCB. the resistors symbol I used was for surface mounted resistors. I changed it to Through-Hole ones. the DS18B20 was also surface mount I changed that to TO-92 style ones.
