In recent insanity, it seems a bunch of CG creators got scammed by a couple that are part of a channel called Indievolt. Aside from social justice infiltration, another good reason to gatekeep is to keep the scheming snakes at bay, because they want nothing more than to take advantage of peoples' hopes.
