A new ultrabook with an AMD platform has appeared in the range of the Schenker company. The model is called Schenker VIA 14 Pro.
Phoenix-generation mobile chips have high-performance Radeon 780M graphics. Despite this, manufacturers use discrete video cards in their laptops. Schenker is one of the few companies that is limited to embedded graphics.
Schenker VIA 14 Pro is equipped with a Ryzen 7 7840HS processor. It is an 8-core 16-thread mobile chip with a Boost frequency of 5.1 GHz, a TDP of 54 W and an FP8 socket. The amount of RAM LPDDR5-6400 is 32 GB. Inside there is room for two M.2 2280 SSDs with PCIe 4.0 x4 support (RAID 0/1).
The laptop received a liquid crystal display with a resolution of 2880 x 1800 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. The LTPS-IPS panel supports AMD FreeSync, has 95 percent sRGB color gamut coverage and 300 nits brightness.
To connect other devices, Schenker VIA 14 Pro has USB-C, DisplayPort, HDMI 2.0, USB-A and Mini-Jack connectors. The laptop also received stereo speakers, a backlit keyboard, Wi-Fi 6 adapters, Bluetooth 5 and an HD camera with Windows Hello support. The battery capacity was 60 Wtg, and the fast charging power was 100 W.
The Schenker VIA 14 Pro will hit the market at a price of €1,099. The basic modification is equipped with a Samsung 980 SSD with a volume of 512 GB. Sales will begin in January 2024.
