Scooby-Doo! Night of 100 Frights is an Action Adventure Platformer developed by Heavy Iron Studios (also known as the developers of the original SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom).
The concept is Mystery Inc got called to a Castle to investigate what happen to a missing inventor as they arrive the gang starts splitting up like usual. Of course the supposedly normal duo of Shaggy and Scooby got separated because of Shaggy grabbing a booby trapped Scooby snack box.
The main gameplay is done from Scooby-Doo perspective and you have to traverse the mansion along with the neighboring areas to find clues to solve the mystery along with the other members of your team. Of course like in Scooby-Doo fashion these areas are swarmed with monsters that you have to avoid or fight once you have the proper equipment.
What I love about this game is that it incorporates a lot of scenes and references from the TV shows of Scooby-Doo where are you along with a few other gags which brings back the laughter from one childhood.
