The cabinet can't be poked, jumped, or backdashed out of (with anyone I've tried). So far as I can tell this can only be escaped with armor or invincibility, and if neither is currently available to your opponent then this is a true combo. Escaping this with a meter burn 3 requires nearly frame perfect timing, and will still take the full 72% damage.
