A Second World War ID bracelet belonging to a Scottish soldier has been discovered in Israel.

The bracelet belonged to Lieutenant James Clark who was serving with the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders in the Middle East during the war.

It was discovered by Gan Erez in a field near the coastal town of Hadera around 40km north of Tel Aviv.

The Argyll Sutherland Highlanders Museum has been able to find a picture of the officer and now Mr Erez is appealing for information to track down any of his descendants so he can give them the bracelet.
