Scout Flurry Timing
Main discussion thread: http://forums.heroesofnewerth.com/showthread.php?410160-Scout-1st-ability
Anyway, given 2 Scouts, both with no items and at level 3, 2 points in Flurry only, here are the results when you time the last landing of a Flurry attack with a regular attack.
MacroHard's theory post was almost correct, but he forgot that attack point & attack backswing are modified by attack speed too! As you can see in this video, it's actually beneficial if you don't cancel Flurry if you compare it to a regular attack without doing any sort of canceling. Since the backswing finishes sooner if you end with a Flurry attack, it means that consequently the next attack starts sooner due to a much higher attack speed. In conclusion, the Scout with Vanish starts his next attack sooner compared to the regularly attacking Scout.
