In this Scrap Mechanic video I show my 4D Scan Lock. It takes a 3D scan of a block "key," then the key changes shape and a second 3D scan is taken. If the two scans are positive and both done within a programmed time (that's the 4th dimension), then a door opens.

The "4D Scan Lock," the "Scan Module - NOR" and "Scan Module - AND" are all available on the Scrap Mechanic workshop.
