If I see waste and scrap metal steel lying around I collect it up and then take it down to the scrapyard when I have a van full. Usually about twice a year it builds up enough to make a trip to the scrapyard worthwhile and so its off to Graig Lelo nr Corwen to weigh it in.
Car battery £8!!! for a duff car battery! At one time these things could be found lying around everywhere. As it was this one had been put into the skip. Even in this economic climate it shows that we are living in a very rich society as £8 is a weeks wages for pretty much half the world unfortunately.
Just a load of crap really apart from the copper wire, that had been building up for some time, again scrounged from skips or from my own home electrics upgrading.
