Scratch blocks - when I receive message
In this video we are going to learn how to use "when I receive message" Scratch block.
This block is one of the Events blocks, and we are going to react when we receive message from some Sprite.
In last video we have broadcasted two messages, but nothing really happened after it ?
That is because we haven't set any other sprite to react on those messages, and that is crucial.
So, in this video, we are going to set bat sprite and microphone sprite to start some action when they receive appropriate messages.
Bat will attack the cat and microphone will show up on screen so cat can pick it up.
But you don't have to stop there, play with these two Scratch blocks which we have learned in two previous videos.
With them you can connect any two, or more, sprites, and that way trigger them to do some action.
Keep on learning, keep on Scratching !!!
