3In this video we are going to learn what is coordinate system in Scratch.
In short that is how we represent space and position in Scratch.
Meaning every Sprite has it's own position on the Stage, right?
So, to define that position easier and faster, we divided the whole Stage with horizontal and vertical lines.
Horizontal axis is called X axis and vertical axis is called Y axis.
They intersect each other and we use their distances to define where the object is on the Stage.
For some games we will need this information, for some not, but it's better for us to learn how this coordinate system works as soon as possible !
