Base game tweaks to run optimized or improved functions of the game.

*~ Notes ~*
Sorry for all the mouth-smacking.
My mouth is dry from all the talking.
I also didn't brighten the in-game footage as I should have.
Which I will try and remember to do from now on.
The gameplay videos will be brighter.

*~ After-the-fact Of Making This Video ~*
So the native resolution of this game is
1024 X 768 with a 4:3 (square) aspect ratio.
That is how it looks when I play and record.
However, 14 gameplay parts are done,
and all the editing and I just now realized it is
recording the game in a 16:9 (rectangle) aspect ratio.

I do believe though that it isn't zooming in on the view area,
rather it is stretching it width-wise somewhat.
Which is not what I intended to do.
Just a cross-up between the game being 1024 X 768 and the
recording software trying to force record in 1920 X 1080.
I apologize for the game not being presented in its native 4:3 aspect ratio.
I'd have to start over and re-record too many videos now.

A lot of people won't notice or care,
but I hate stretching games that aren't meant to be widescreen.
You can tell when you look at circular objects in the game.
Like the dial on the phone or the various clock faces.
They will look less round and more oval
because they are being stretched and warped.

If you play this game yourself it will look 4:3.
Just pay attention to this happening if you try to record it for YouTube.

*~ Patches & Updates ~*
After a little more research, and of course, after I've already made the Config & Tech video.
I think I've determined a little more about the patches.
Whether it's true or not, I'm not 100% sure.
I think the patches are only needed for the retail versions of the game that came on a disc.
If you have the digital GOG or Steam versions, the patches are most likely already applied to your game.
Regardless, here are the patches below if you want them.
If you have a digital version of the Director's Cut.
I would be curious to know what version your scream.exe shows.
Mine is GOG version 0.9.4.358.
