In Episode 1 Nuestras Malvinas, Argentina has invaded the Falkland Islands, a British protectorate in the South Atlantic. The British have assembled a task force to retake the Islands. The task force consists of a carrier battle group centred on the carriers Invincible and Ark Royal. An amphibious group with ground forces. And a nuclear attack submarine HMS Trafalgar.

In the Falklands War campaign, UK Forces attempt to break the Argentine naval blockade of the Falkland Islands (Malvinas) in order to clear the way for an Amphibious Group to land on the islands.
