Here is an interesting arcade game called: Gundam Saiko Salamander. It really has a metal slug kind of look and some good looking backgrounds. The music isnt that great but it is a fun run and gun type of game. for those of you out there who enjoy the Gunforce games, metal slug games, and Contra games there is another Sd gundam game for the arcade called: SD Gundam Rainbow which includes elements from all three of the games listed above. check out a video on it if you have the chance!
