Seiko divers—primarily the SKX007 and SKX009— are the watches that converted me into a diehard Seikoholic. But as I prepare for my State of the Collection video for 2022, I couldn't help noticing that I'm very light on Seiko divers. What has changed? What are Seiko's newest divers for 2021 and 2022 like in comparison? Is the much higher asking price justified? And how do these new releases fit in with regards to the rich, illustrious heritage and achievement of their diving watches?
