Season's Greedings: CTR and Activision's Nitro-Fueled Lie
With the release of Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled's second Grand Prix season, Back N. Time, Activision announced what many worried was on the way: In-game microtransactions that allow players to spend real money on CTR's Wumpa Coins. In today's video, The Golden Bolt and MykonosFan discuss in detail exactly WHY this announcement doesn't bode well both for CTR and potentially for future games in the Crash and Spyro series. After all, while Nitro Fueled's Pit Stop may be only for cosmetic purchases now, Activision has a track record of burying the truth when it comes to these deceptive, post-launch microtransaction updates.
