Sebastian Vettel is a racing driver from Heppenheim, Hesse, West Germany.

He was the F1 drivers' champion in 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013. He is the youngest driver's champion and the youngest winner in history, and has set numerous F1 records for being the youngest driver in history.

Toro Rosso Era
In the early stages of the 2008 season, he was using a modified version of the previous year's car, but he had a difficult time, retiring from four consecutive races starting from the opening round in Australia.

In the 9th round in England, he qualified in Q3 for the first time this year and earned 8th place on the grid, and in the following 9 out of 10 rounds, he showed his speed by qualifying in the top 10.

In the 14th round in Italy, where both qualifying and the race were held in heavy rain, he took his and the team's first pole position.

In the final race, while the rain made the top two places more crowded, he drove consistently to maintain his lead and take his first pole-to-win and give Toro Rosso its first win as a team.

At 21 years and 72 days old, he became the youngest driver in F1 history to take a pole position, and at 21 years and 73 days old, he became the youngest driver to win a race, the youngest driver to be on the podium, and the youngest driver to win a pole position in F1 history.

He also became the first driver since Jean-Pierre Jabouille in the 8th round of the 1979 French GP to win a race on the podium for the first time, making this a record-breaking victory.

In the final race of the season, the Brazilian GP, he overtook Lewis Hamilton, who was battling for the championship, and drove an impressive race to finish in 4th place.

Ferrari Era

He has been racing for Ferrari since 2015.
His teammate is 2007 champion Kimi Raikkonen. The previous year, when the fixed number system was introduced, he was wearing "1" as he was also the champion, but from this season he will wear "5", which he had pre-selected during the previous year.

The Ferrari SF15-T performed well from the tests, finishing on the podium in 3rd place in the opening round in Australia.

In the following round, the Malaysian GP, he qualified 2nd and was the first Ferrari driver on the front row in two years.

In the race, he succeeded in a two-stop strategy and took his first win for Ferrari in two years and his first since the final race of 2013.

In the 10th round in Hungary, he took the lead at the start and went on to win for the first time since the second round in Malaysia, tying Ayrton Senna's three-time Drivers' Champion record for wins.

In the 13th round in Singapore, he took his first pole position in two years, and the first for Ferrari in three years.

In the Russian GP, he was involved in a near collision with a debris disposal marshal[19], but he calmly handled the situation and finished on the podium in 2nd place.

In the closing stages of the season, he briefly rose to second place in the standings, but his first retirement of the season at the Mexican Grand Prix, won by Nico Rosberg, was also a factor, and he finished third in the standings in his first season with Ferrari.

However, in his first season with Ferrari, he took three wins, and looked as if he might break Mercedes' stranglehold on the championship.

His pole position at the Singapore Grand Prix was the only pole position won by a non-Mercedes driver in the 2015 season.

Perhaps due in part to the excess of 1-2 finishes by Mercedes teams, he finished the year with a rare record of seven third-place podium finishes, the most of any driver, as well as third in total points.

Red Bull Era
2009.
Moved to Red Bull this year. His teammate is Mark Webber.

In the opening round in Australia, he qualified 3rd.

He was running 2nd in the race when he collided with Robert Kubica, who overtook him in the final laps, and the damage caused him to crash immediately afterwards, wrecking his car.

He was treated as having finished the race, but ended up finishing 13th. He was held responsible for the contact and was given a 10-grid demotion penalty for the next round, as well as a fine for continuing to drive with the damaged machine, which was considered dangerous driving.

In the second round, the Malaysian GP, in heavy rain, he spun in the final stages of the race, causing his engine to stall and he had to stop the car to finish the race, finishing 15th.

In the third round, the Chinese GP, he achieved his second pole-to-win since the previous year's Italian GP, again in a rainy race, and also brought Red Bull its first victory.

In the seventh round in Turkey, he took pole position. In the race, he went off the track on the first lap and was passed by Jenson Button, which led to a change of strategy that backfired and he finished the race in 3rd place.

In Round 8, the British GP, he took pole position for the second consecutive race despite running the heaviest fuel among the cars that made it to Q3 of qualifying.
