The SEC has been caught taking bribes from SBF.
FTX has hired numerous ex-SEC/ex-CFTC heads to help them skirt around regulations and set up meetings (bribes) with current SEC officials. One of the key men at FTX worked DIRECTLY with Gary Gensler.
This is how Sam was able to avoid regulators for so long, having a whopping 10 'dinners' with the SEC, just to discuss a singular clearinghouse regulation. If FTX has been bribing the SEC... I wonder who else has been.
However, now that FTX has collapsed it seems the shorts are panicking big time, the CTB is hitting new all time highs, margin requirements are increasing, and AMC is just about to perform a reverse split making it 10x more expensive to short AMC.
