The first level is purely a test to see that the script will in fact generate a level that the game will be able to properly load. In other words, making sure the XML code doesn't have any fatal errors.

Q: But how?
A: The algorithm to generate levels is currently being written in Python, and will systematically place down blocks (at first) using a current x and current y position, which are planned to change semi randomly giving a different level geometry each time.

Q: Why Secret Maryo Chronicles, a fairly obscure game?
A: The levels in this game may have custom extensions but opening the files in a text editor reveals that they are basically XML files, which I already know how to generate using Python.
