Secret of Mana 2018 - Sprite Disappearance Glitch (read desc.)
0Okay, so this was a weird one, and I have no idea how it happened. I was setting up some armor I just bought from Neko, and when I tried to move on, the screen turned black and I could still hear the sprite moving. After trying to screen transition hoping it would fix it, nothing happened.
First off, in order to fix this glitch, just RELOAD YOUR LAST AUTOSAVE.
What the glitch entails I think, is the sprite was clipped through the ground after the screen oriented to face Neko after talking to him, and the sprite was essentially right under the floor, but off the map technically. I'm thinking that's why the minimap disappears, and the game doesn't know what to show the player since the camera isn't designed to show that angle.
The sprite can still attack though they won't hit anything, and can still cast spells. The sprite isn't invincible from enemy spells, so there's really no benefit to this glitch as far as I can tell.
Also the game randomly crashes, THANK GOD FOR AUTOSAVE.
