Subject: This is more of a casual playthrough instead of a walkthrough as I'm not as familiar with this game compare to Seiken Densetsu 3 but I'll try to be informative still. In this run through of Secret Of Mana for the SNES I'm going to try to level up all the weapons along with magic to the maximum level.

Info: We continue our journey to restore the mana sword. This time we travel to the upperlands to obtain seed that is here. So yeah this is where the game starts to fun and more difficult. By now you should be familiar with leveling up weapons and magic as well as gaining enough money to buy Faerie Walnuts regularly.

Anyways, the Upperland can be a bit confusing if you don't pay attention to what you're supposed to do. (I seem to get lost everytime I come here.) The enemies here can also be a problem when you're just trying to rush through so don't be afraid to dispose of them quickly with magic. The boss of this area, Spring Beak is easy for the most part though there are a few things to note. He can only be damaged on his head which is really difficult to hit from the ground but even when getting to higher ground he's not the easiest to damage by attacking. I'd honestly suggest using magic only on him as it isn't really worth the hassle of trying to attack him and he deals a lot of damage with his magic. Earth is his weakness so earth slide him away. With his defeat we obtain Sylphid, the spirit of wind.
