Secret of Mana is my oldest RPG game (pick up this game around 26 years ago, when i was 10-11 year old.) I am played game through casually many times, but never are make any challenge things before. So lets try beat game without equip/pick up/buy any armors. Yes its brutal.
Hero: Overalls
Sprite: Midge Robe
Girl: Kun Fu Suit

Only starting armors are equiped, but you never buy any armors entire game. Yes late game enemys in Mana Fortress and Pure land will take 400-600 energy away per hit and technically kill you instantly. But how ever late game contains a lot awesome magic. When i test mana fortress its not seems that horrible hard, but still unforgive at least last tier when master ninja & fiend head take whole team instantly RIP. Unlike Secret of Evermore, there is not thats cheap techs, so this is a lot tougher one than Evermore no armor gameplay

This will be glitchless, but all regular game techs is allowed:
1: Multicast
2: Magic cancel using midge hammer or mooglebelte (its mandatory here)
3: Yes you are allowed cheat death using healig when you are still alive (This is mana beast Tech) Its not glitch, actually game bug. You will see it later.

Part 8. Final 3/3. Mana Fortress, Final Boss & Ending.
Final level is maybe toughest segment entire game. I got extremely clean part without lost any items. Mana Beast is pretty tough boss. This boss will eliminate entire party instantly if you timed things incorrects. So its take me while to train good rhythm with this. Also EU version boss is bit tougher than US version. You cannot make 999 damage hits. Lv7 moonmagic and manasword caused 500+ damage per normal swing. So this take me 3 rounds to kill, its nearly come 4th round.

Finally done it. Beat game with starting armors used. Never pick up any armors. Final levels Boy & Sprite was 52. Girl bit lower because she died few last boss fights. Low Level challenge might are pretty similar, but then you have to focus more pass enemys than kill those, but you can buy some armors which will balanced it little bit.
