This is the third and final video for my video walkthrough / playthrough / runthrough / etc of the SNES RPG Secret of Mana. This video goes from entering the Pure Land to the end.

Thanks goes to Dark Wyvern and mastawolf over at GameFAQs.com for their hints, tips, and suggestions. I had wanted some advice on some things to do during the video (since I usually take the time to grind out spell and weapon levels, and I tried not to do that in the videos), and they provided some useful information.

While there isn't any grinding in this video, I do take two trips to finish both the Pure Land and the Mana Fortress. For the Pure Land, I didn't have all the armor that I should have. Once I went through the Pure Land a bit, I had enough cash to buy the rest of the armor from Neko, so I left, got the armor, and then came back. This also allowed me to sleep at an inn, and restock on farie walnuts.

As far as the Mana Fortress goes, I wasn't confident enough to just go through it all in one go. For one, my Dryad magic levels were just one, so the mana sword wouldn't last long. Also, I was running out of farie walnuts and MP in general, so I went back to restock. In doing this, I was also hoping to perhaps get some more armor and orbs, and while I did get some nice armor, I only got a freaking javelin orb...But in the end, I was able to go back through and defeat the last two bosses without too much trouble, though I think the last boss could have gone faster if I bothered to level up my magic a bit...

I was quite happy with defeating the second to last boss with the smiling Earth Slide attack though... :P
