Guybrush uses his fancy new oars to paddle to the norther part of Monkey Island. It's there that he meets the islands cannibals and spots a three-headed monkey! He is imprisoned by uses all of his cunning to escape, returning later with a tribute. The mighty Guybrush solves an age-old feud between the cannibals and Herman Toothrot, helping him to gain access to the giant monkey head, LeChcuck's secret layer.

Later he barters for a navigator head and invisible necklace that help him to get on Le'Chuck's ghost pirate ship!
