It's everyone's favorite planet in Knights of the Old Republic, Taris! After the escape pod crashes, you find yourself with Carth in some slum apartments. We begin to learn some about Carth's troubled past and his mistrust of everyone and everything.

Walking around the city we find a society governed by Sith interest and a wealthy upper-class that oppresses the poor and promotes racism towards aliens. Things are bad in Upper Taris, but even worse below, where a plague is spreading.
