Secret Quest, a late-era Atari 2600 release often incorrectly attributed to Nolan Bushnell (including by its packaging), was intended to be the Atari 2600's answer to Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda. Did it succeed? Not quite, but it managed to be a distinctive and enjoyable game in its own right regardless.
