In Cronos: The New Dawn, you play as the Traveler, an agent of a mysterious organization called the Collective, tasked with traveling to 1980s Poland to extract the essences of key individuals just before a disease called "The Change" turns humanity into horrific monsters called Orphans. You use time rifts to harvest these essences to gather information about the apocalypse and to recruit them for the Collective.
