Securing APIs and Implementing multi-region failover with PSC and Apigee
When you access managed services that run on Google Cloud, you might want to channel requests to those services through a policy enforcement point. Using a policy enforcement point lets you configure logging and cryptography, and lets you specify which URLs are accessed. You can use Private Service Connect with consumer HTTP(S) service controls to connect global external HTTP(S) load balancers to managed services in Google Cloud, using the load balancer for policy enforcement. In this video, we will show how to use PSC with consumer HTTP(s) service controls to connect to an API hosted through Apigee and demonstrate how PSC can be used to support a multi-region failover in the event of a regional outage.
