The Sega Game Gear was a Nintendo Gameboy competitor and on paper better in every way. It had a bigger screen, it was in color, it had console quality games. But it was also more expensive and the screen was washed out and it ate batteries like they were candy.
In 2022 Sega Game Gear prices are fairly inexpensive, but with the Analogue Pocket reaching more and more hands, will there be a demand for physical titles now that there's a high quality portable solution?
