This fight can be annoying and you can get overwhelmed quickly. However, there are a couple of tricks that you can and should use that will allow you to clear this stage and take either no damage or almost no damage.

First, don't get greedy. Be comfortable hitting Death Bringer 1-2 times and then moving. You need to hit him a lot so stick and move otherwise you can get surrounded.

The skeletons do the usual skeleton moves, but they for all intents and purposes, invincible. However, there is a bug that can cause 1 of them to disappear after you use magic and knock them off screen. This bug actually happens in this video. Assuming both skeletons stay for the duration of the fight, they will always default to trying to go on opposite sides of you. If they do this, Death Adder will stay near the middle of the screen. If you get the skeletons to both be on one side, Death Adder will go towards the opposite edge of the screen. This is what you want ideally as it makes it easy to dish out the damage while you avoid damage.

Most importantly to this fight. Don't let Death Adder even get one hit on you. The moment he does, he will do random magic that will hit you a second time, dishing out a lot of rapid damage. This sounds difficult, but it's actually pretty straight forward. To avoid taking any damage from Death Adder, simply position yourself above or below him on the screen. He will just keep wandering up/down towards you and not even swing once.

The main strategy is to get Death Adder to one side or the other. The skeletons will only come at you one at a time here. When the skeleton gets close, do a jump attack to knock it down. Then immediately walk up/down and hit Death Adder 1-2 times then continue to move up/down. The main goal is to not let the skeletons do a charge attack as this will put 1of them on the opposite side of you and make Death Adder move to the middle.

Considering that Death Adder has a ton of health, I recommend saving your magic and only using it to avoid taking damage. It's not as if you will kill either of the skeletons or Death Adder with magic alone (excluding the bug that is shown in this video).

This can be a frustrating level, but once you learn to control Death Adder's movements, it becomes a bit of a breeze. Albeit, a long breeze.
