Sega has a pretty rocky past when it comes to classic mini consoles, but that looks like its all about to change with the reveal of the latest model: The Sega Genesis Mini Classic - available on Sept 19th 2019 (9/19/29).
Now that AtGames has been removed from the picture, things are starting to look up! Revealed on 3/29/19 at Sega FES 2019 in Tokyo Japan, this mini console is gonna turn heads.
Sega did announce the following games for the U.S. version:


Altered Beast
Castlevania: Bloodlines
Comix Zone
Dr. Robotnik’s Mean Bean Machine
Ecco the Dolphin
Gunstar Heroes
Shining Force
Sonic The Hedgehog
Space Harrier II
ToeJam & Earl

Per Kotaku: In a separate presentation at Sega Fes, Sega said that M2, the developer behind Sega Ages, is creating the software for the device. It also said that the system will include different regional variations of some games. For example, the Mega Drive Mini in Japan will include the U.S., European, and Japanese versions of Castlevania: Bloodlines. It didn’t say if the overseas versions of the device would similarly contain different regional variations, but it seems likely.
