Sega GT 2002 Season 1 [8/11]: No Damage, All Prize Cars - A Stage and S License Test
I wanted this game to be on my channel, although my capabilities to record older consoles (4:3 Composite with partially glitched graphics) speak against it.
An enumeration of all goals in this walkthrough can be found in the playlist of this series:

00:15: Upgrading Vehicle [Esprit 02] - Turbine (Step 2)
01:03: Official Race - Dancing Horizon Cup (Sun Orchard Park) [Esprit 02]
06:49: Official Race - Eagle Flight (Desert Super Ring) [Esprit 02]
11:32: Official Race - Ironside International (Iron City Circuit) [Esprit 02]
20:25: S License Test (Green Castle Pass) [Lancer VI Tommi Makinen] - Time Limit 01'26'000
Now we reached a point in the game where the cars go noticebly faster. First of all, Step 2 Turbine will be upgraded to the Esprit in order to stand a chance against the strongest opponent in the A License Stage - the Honda S2000. Do not jump to the wrong conclusions because you probably think about the Honda S600 (one of the slowest cars in the entire game). The S2000 is actually very powerful !
It doesn't seem that obvious in the first race because, lucky for us, the Mustang GT was blocking the S2000 until the second half of the last lap. As you can then see in the results screen, it took only A HALF of a round to build a 7 second lead over the Mustang GT.
The second race is the (boring) 'Desert Super Ring'. I don't know how things would have turned out if the S2000 were there because I didn't face one as well in my practice playthrough.
In the third race, however, it becomes obvious why the Step 2 Turbine was necessary, as the S2000 stays close to us the entire time. It might not feel close, but do not forget that all cars go significantly faster now.
The S License Test is also a simple one, but unlike the A License Test, you should take as much off-road shortcuts as your Performance gauge allows in order to achieve Rank 1 for this test.
